In its recent issue, The New Jersey Herald featured Up and Above Contractors’ participation in the No Roof Left Behind (NRLB) program.
Since 1993, we at Up and Above Contractors have been helping residential and commercial property owners manage their roofing and maintain their living and business spaces. To give back to the community that has supported us for more than 20 years, our team of roofing contractors in NJ joined the NLRB program.
NLRB is a countrywide campaign that brings neighbors and contractors together. It aims to help families have better roofs. Many roofing companies and home improvement contractors use the program to connect with the community and give a deserving homeowner a new roof.
Blaise Kubik is the winner of the recent NRLB event sponsored by Up and Above Contractors. With 400 votes, the Vietnam veteran said winning the contest is an unexpected blessing. After five years of using temporary solutions to protect his roof and prevent leaks from damaging his home, Kubik can now rest comfortably.
Up and Above Contractors owner Jackie Powers said that the contest is really a community effort. To find a winner, neighbors have to nominate people who need help repairing or replacing their roofs. Of course, you can nominate yourself, too. Before a winner is determined, NRLB releases a final list of nominees. Community members have to vote the person they think deserves a new roof the most. For the community of Vernon, that person is Kubik.
Powers noted that the opportunity to give Kubik a new roof is a pleasure in itself. This shows how Up and Above Contractors values community involvement as much as we give importance to quality products and services.
