At Up and Above Contractors, we’ve been busy making outdoor living more enjoyable for families throughout Warren, Morris and Sussex counties. One of our favorite projects is crafting beautiful decks NJ families can use for cookouts, family gatherings or just relaxing on a summer evening. Check out these photos of a gorgeous Trex® deck that we installed recently in Sussex.
Trex is a composite product made of a combination of wood and plastic fibers. It’s unique because it brings together the best qualities of wood and plastic: plastic shields the wood from moisture and insect damage, and wood protects the plastic from UV damage while providing a natural look and feel. The result is decking that requires only occasional cleaning to stay beautiful for years to come – no need for sanding, staining or painting, ever!
Trex will not rot or deteriorate due to harsh weather or insects. It’s splinter-free and has excellent traction, even when wet. It contains no toxic chemicals or preservatives. The plastic and wood fibers used to manufacture Trex are from reclaimed or recycled resources, keeping thousands of tons of wood and plastic scrap out of landfills every year. Trex resists damage from moisture and sunlight, making it the natural choice for pools, hot tubs and spas. Plus it’s available in a wide range of colors and finishes to suit any style.
